Betty Overstreet is a Gospel/Country Western Singer/Songwriter. She has won several Awards in resent years for her original songs.

In 2016 she won awards for "You came right back" and 'I dreamed I walked along with Jesus" from Akademia Music Awards I Pasadena, Ca.

2019 Northwest Alabama Publishing Co Songwriter contest honored her with a GOLD RECORD for 3 of her songs:
"God will send an Angel" 1st Place Traditional
"Let me follow" 1st Place Christian Song
"Dreams don't always happen" 2nd Place Country Gospel

Betty recorded in Nashville in 1988 and one of her songs reached the top 100 on the Cashbox charts that year.
